The MediaGuardian Innovation Awards

The 2009 MediaGuardian Innovation Awards will be open for entries at the end of September. To sign up for updates please enter your web address below and we’ll let you know when it’s time to get your entries in.

The first ever MediaGuardian Innovation Awards took place at Indigo2 in London on 6 March 2008, and the cream of the UK’s media talent assembled to celebrate with the winners and commiserate with the runners-up. Hosts Hardeep Singh Kohli and Miquita Oliver handed out the gongs while guests enjoyed entertainment from up and coming acts Pete & the Pirates, Basquiat Strings, dan le sac Vs. Scroobius Pip and Theoretical Girl.

It was gratifying that even in their first year, the Megas attracted entries which represented the very best of media talent in the UK. Our judging panel had a tough time coming up with the shortlist and there was even more debate about the eventual winners.
