The UK is Google’s primary market outside the US and is one of the world’s leading e-commerce and online marketing environments. Matt leads a team which combines online marketing, media and specialist industry expertise to help Google’s UK clients and partners make the most of online opportunities. Sectors covered in depth include Finance, Travel, Technology, Retail, Media, Classifieds, Consumer Products, Healthcare and Automotive.
Prior to Google, Matt spent much of the last ten years working in media and marketing, with particular interests in strategy, commercial development and sales performance. This included several years in consulting with McKinsey and Company and more recently Commercial and Digital Director roles in UK media. In his earlier career Matt was both an international rower and a property developer. He holds an MBA from London Business School, an MA from Cambridge and several Boat Race silver medals.
Matt will talk about how Google sees consumer behaviour changing, and the challenges and opportunities that these changes bring for those involved in sales, marketing and retailing.
