Shaun Williams is Director of Corporate Affairs for Guardian News & Media.
He joined GNM in 2002 from Carlton Communications plc, where he succeeded David Cameron as Director of Corporate Affairs.
He was previously Chief Executive of PACT, the trade body for independent television production companies.
His media career started as a reporter with the Salisbury Journal, he then won a place on the BBC´ graduate production trainee scheme and spent 7 years at the BBC working as a studio and film director on a variety of programmes, and a year as senior producer of an ITV politics show.
