Keeping the BBC (and indeed Britain) relevant in the digital age requires us all to harness innovation at an unprecedented rate. We need to successfully implement transformational ideas - whether content, technology, or design - or combinations of all three, that will make a positive impact on our audiences. We need to do it faster, with more agility than we do now. We can't rely on just one or two sources for new ideas anymore: we need to tap in to individuals within the creative or developer community, get access to companies, agencies, and organisations that are outside our usual sphere, and find fresh ways of engaging with our audience to help us to help them come up with solutions themselves.
