Who can enter

Eligibility

The Awards are open to innovative work in any media or across a variety of media, however regional and national newspapers are not eligible. Entries can be submitted by media owners, agencies or individuals based in the UK.

Entries must have appeared for the first time between 31 October 2006 and 31 October 2007.

Payment

There is a fee of £200 plus VAT per entry per category. Once you have submitted your entry you will be taken to a secure payment area where you will need to make a payment with a credit card.

Closing date

The closing date for entries will be
12 noon, Friday 2 November 2007.
Entries not meeting the criteria or arriving after that date will be disqualified.

Entry format

All entries must be submitted via the website, mediaguardian.co.uk/awards. Entries can not be accepted by post. Entrants will be asked for written information about their entry depending on the category and will have the opportunity to upload a maximum of 5 supporting files each with a 20MB limit.

Please adhere to the following guidelines when submitting your work.

  • For Digital entries, including websites, web banners, MPU, eyeblasters, e-cards, viral movies all entrants must provide a live URL address for their entry as well as a static screen grab. If the entry is no longer in the public domain, you must create a live demo on a development server.
  • For Broadcast entries, including audio programmes, podcasts, TV programmes, TV advertisements all entrants must upload a sample section of the broadcast not exceeding the 20mb limit. Alternatively, broadcast entries can be hosted online, in which case entrants must provide a live URL address. Once the organisers have received your entry we may get in touch to request a full DVD of the submitted work.
  • For Print entries, including magazines, print advertisement campaigns all entrants must submit PDF or similar files to illustrate their work. Once the organisers have received your entry we may get in touch to request sample copies.
